What is the AR Platform

AR enables trainees to practice independent interpretation, receive private formative feedback, and prepare for independent clinical practice and future certification examinations, while maintaining strict data security and full auditability.

Currently, AR functions as a formative educational and assessment tool. Beginning in December 2026, the platform will transition to serve as the formal assessment mechanism for PGY6 trainees seeking Level II Independent Interpreter designation.

Augmented Reporting (AR) is a secure, novel cloud-based platform designed to evaluate and enhance the quality, competency, and efficiency of echocardiography reporting for trainees pursuing a Level II Independent Interpreter designation.

The platform supports sonographers, echocardiographers, and trainees through standardized competency-based assessments, structured feedback, and access to curated, anonymized echocardiographic studies with gold standard reports.
