Looking Ahead: The Future of Echocardiogram Use in Canada

As Eco Project Canada continues to expand, we’re actively exploring innovative ways to integrate echocardiograms (ECGs) into more areas of healthcare. Here are some of the promising use cases we’re working toward:

  • Rural and Remote Monitoring: Mobile eco units can provide early heart screening in communities that lack access to cardiology specialists.

  • Emergency Response Integration: Portable ecos could be deployed with paramedics and first responders, enabling faster, on-site diagnostics.

  • Preventative Health Programs: Ecos may be included in routine screenings at community health centers and schools, helping detect issues earlier—especially in youth and at-risk groups.

  • Telehealth Expansion: When paired with virtual care, ecos can connect patients with cardiologists in real time, regardless of location.

Our mission is to make heart health more accessible, preventative, and responsive across Canada. Stay connected for updates on upcoming pilot programs and partnerships.
